My parents said the apples were the best they had EVER had. There were some not-so-subtle hints that they'd like more for the next gift-giving occasion. They also loved the pears, which were up to the usual standard of excellence. The cheese was a big hit, too.

My children's grandmother is 90 and fractured a bone in her back. She had to spend some time in the hospital and nursing home and came home just as the gift arrived. I hear food is not tasting good to her right now.......probably because of a medication. The only thing she wants to eat is fruit and yogurt, so this ended up being the perfect gift for her at the perfect time.

I received this as a birthday gift from my mother; I've sent her many Harry & David gifts over the past several years. It was nice to be on the receiving end of a delicious H&D gift. The pears were like honey, and the apples appropriately apple-y. The quality of the cheese surprised me, too. All in all, it was a very welcome and surprise gift, which disappeared quickly.

Pears were delicious as usual! Small quantity assures eating before quality deteriorates. Apples are Red Delicious (which are NOT delicious in our stores), but these apples were really good. Quality pays!
