The truffles are delicious, but this order was for my mother for Mother's Day and Mom lives in Florida. The truffles arrived as a melted chocolate mess - - - Happy Mother's Day!! Why would anyone attempt to ship chocolate truffles to Florida in May without insulation and "cold pack" packaging. Come on Harry & David there are lot's of good logistics and transportation people out there looking for work. You need to fire the knuckle heads you currently have and hire some good ones.

I bought the two boxes of truffles for my mom for Mothers Day. I was excited because she adores chocolates, truffles especially. But when they arrived the friday before Mothers Day, they were COMPLETELY melted. I mean, they were dripping through the box! Needless to say, I was very upset. My mom was a trooper and put them in the freezer, but they had all melted together into a large soupy mix of yuck and froze into a mix of confusion. It was depressing. The one saving grace was that customer service was top-notch and gave me a full refund. I don't blame Harry and David, I blame the delivery driver who did not knock and left the chocolates outside in the 84 degree heat for hours. Who does that?! It should have been in a refrigerated box if they were planning to leave it outside during a work day. It even said that it was time sensitive or some such wording on the box. Sigh. Dissapointed. I wont be doing this again.
