Received as an apology from a business. I love Harry and David items, so I was won over and apologies were accepted.
My only comment is about the Crater Lake Crunch included in the basket. I must have gotten an old package, because the granola was chewey - not crunchy, and the banana chips had no flavor at all. Actually the only item in the entire mix with any flavor were the blueberries. I was looking for an expiration date on the package, and there is some number stamped on it, but it is smudged and unreadable - maybe that's why it was not pulled from stock when it might have expired? The only other marking is a sticker on the back that says 1591 SF MSD1. Not sure it that helps, but it may prevent you from dispensing this to others.
Also included was the double crunch granola - now that rocks!!!

I can't speak for the gifts I sent this year, but I can comment on the Harry and David gifts I personally received from others. I must say I was somewhat disappointed. In the past the fruits have been spectacular. Perfectly ripened, sweet, very good. This year, the fruit I received was consistently mediocre. The pears were as if they had been frozen or something, they just weren't right. I willing to give H and D another try though because they were so good in the past. If they don't turn out this time though, I don't think I'll purchase from them again.

Have used you lots of times in the past. Never had a problem. This time the fruit arrived two days past the "deliver by" date and the pears were bad. Since the pears were have of the gift, it was disappointing

I sent this gift to my parents who were traveling away from home on my father's birthday. They were so surprised to receive a gift while out of town and loved having a healthier snack in the their hotel room. My mom's been on a restricted diet for a while, but she LOVES H&D. Thankfully, this basket was perfect! The nuts and fruit were absolutely perfect for her to enjoy guilt-free on Mother's Day. The basket it came in is great for one of her potted plants, too. She loved it in totality.
