I got the catalog from Harry and David and decided to purchase two items. Both underwhelmed the recipient (my mother) and for the prices - I was expecting her to be overjoyed.
Next time I will just order from the grocery store on line delivery service for her.
Quality was fine - price was astonomical for what you got.

I admit the fine print only listed the turkey and the ham as contents, but the photo showed fruit as well. Kind of disappointed but he hasn't eaten it yet and I'm sure it will be delicious.

This item was purchased for my mother's annual Christmas Eve party. All the family gets together for fun, laughs, music and sharing of gifts. The ham and turkey served as a centerpiece for all the homemade side dishes and desserts. The family all loved it and since I couldn't be there, I was most happy to share Harry and David with my family.

This is a great way to introduce the turkey and ham products to your friends. You will want to try the whole turkey and hams. I have had the whole turkey and cannot believe how easy to prepare and it has more meat on it than any other turkey I have ever purchased. Real treat for cook and guests.

That's an excellent question! Our Ham and Turkey Sampler is already cooked and ships frozen. You should refrigerate upon arrival and leave refrigerated until ready to serve, or refreeze if not planning to enjoy within the next week. It may be frozen for up to 6 months without any loss of taste or texture. If frozen more than 6 months, taste will still be the same, but texture will have changed significantly.Answered on 5/25/2012 by Customer Care from Medford, OR

Thank you for your question! The Ham and Turkey Sampler is already cooked and shipped frozen. It can be warmed before serving, but is just as tasty cold! It should be refrigerated upon arrival and left refrigerated until ready to serve. The meat products in the sampler are fully cooked, they just need to brought to serving temp to be ready to serve. The fruit and garnishments are not included. The meat products are vacuum packet to stay fresh.Answered on 5/18/2012 by Community Answer from None
