Royal Riviera Pear and Blue Cheese Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. Harry & David® Lemon Pepper Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Harry & David® Balsamic Vinegar
  • 6 oz blue cheese
  • Several grinds of Harry and David® Salt and Pepper
  • 10 oz mixed greens
  • 2 Royal Riviera® Pears, peeled, halved, cored and sliced.
  • ½ cup Sahale Valdosta pecans

Directions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the Harry & David® Lemon Pepper Olive Oil, Harry & David® Balsamic Vinegar, and 2 oz blue cheese.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Toss the vinaigrette with mixed greens.
  4. Divide the dressed salad greens on 4 plates.
  5. Top each salad with a fan of pear slices.
  6. Crumble the remaining blue cheese and sprinkle over the pears.
  7. Top each salad with the Valdosta Pecans
