We didn't always have a cheesecake party wheel. We used to just make our classic New York style cheesecake. And then one year at the company picnic, our head baker, Connie, brought four classic cheesecakes, each with a twist. One had Moose Munch® Popcorn on top, one had strawberries, another had all the kinds of chocolate on it and the last one was topped with Bing cherries. No one could decide which they wanted, so most of us took a slice of each. And that's when we decided to make a cheesecake with a slice or two of each kind. We tried to name it after Connie, but she didn't want the fame to go to her head.

I bought this cheesecake wheel for my husband at Christmas and when it arrived it was not frozen and the toppings had been smeared all over the plastic wrap. When we cut it open the cake was only slightly cool to the touch and the taste was not correct. We throught the whole thing away. I love Harry and David products but will steer clear of items that have to be shipped in cold packs.

The cheesecake was a great gift for my Mom. The downside is that she almost didn't get it. It was delivered to the wrong house. The owners of the house happened to find it on the porch. The deliver peson did not ring the bell. It was just left. Lucky for my Mom the owners were honest and took it to her.
