That's what Harry and David used to say about them, anyways. Our cherries are big and crunchy. Just like cherries should be. And they have an amazing sweet and tangy flavor. We grow ours in the Pacific Northwest, where it's cool and wet with lots of volcanic soil in the ground. That's the best environment to grow the best cherries.     I sent this to my dad for father's day and some friends as a baby shower/housewarming gift. They all LOVED it and said it arrived in perfect condition. They also love receiving fruit so much more than flowers because they can eat it and it does not end up as clutter in the home as some other gifts do.

    I realize that Royal Riviera Pears can't be available all year, so I went for the Premium Pears and Cherries. The Premium pears are still delicious, but they weren't ready to eat when they arrived. Still, my elderly mother, who loves Royal Riviera pears, enjoyed these once they ripened.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
