Fancy strawberries, really. That's what you get when you dip the berries in white chocolate and in milk chocolate, then decorate them by hand as if each one were the queen of all dipped strawberries. There is something about strawberries dipped in chocolate that says fancy. At least that's what we think around here. You might want to test the theory. But if you're going to give someone special a box of chocolate dipped berries, you might want to get some for yourself as well. Saves the embarrassment of stealing the riches.

    I was recently sent a box of these berries and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the berries were and how delicious the chocolate was. Other brands have a waxy chocolate taste, but the H&D chocolate was sweet and delicious. I would definitely gift these to anyone who likes chocolate dipped fruit.

    I loved the idea of receiving this as a gift. I was really looking forward to enjoying this treat. However, when the item arrived the first time, the cold pack was warm, the fruit was rancid, and the chocolate covered strawberries had melted, slipped below the padded cushion on which they had been placed, and had been tossed around so much it looked as if they had been placed in a blender. When the replacement order arrived a few days later, it was the same deal. Beautiful packaging, wonderful presentation, horrible disappointment inside.

                    I don't usually send my husband of 32 years a Valentine's Day gift, but with the economic struggle of the past few years we have cut back on most everything and I decided to splurge. WOW! He was so thrilled. The chocolate covered strawberries were wrapped beautifully - looked like a Tiffany box. Then, with the office staff looking on, he opened the box and the white and dark chocolate was beautifully covering the biggest strawberries I've ever seen. The chocolate and strawberry delighted our taste buds. I highly recommend this for a "something special" treat.
