I bought this as a gift, but it was a bit Upside Down! It tasted Delicious though!
When I told Harry & David, they could not have been nicer and sent another, however no difference with the new one, still Upside Down mess! I think it is a hard cake to package, because if tilted at all it runs. Nevertheless, it tasted Great, tart, but not too tart and if you like lemon, you would love this. I would not purchase this as a gift, for the reasons I have stated, but I have great respect for Harry & David Customer Service. Thank you for being so responsive, you are Special in that regard!!

Although the overall flavor was good, there was not enough lemon. The bottom and side crust were so hard I have to saw through them and once pushed so hard, the dessert flew off the plate.

The filling was extremely sweet - more like a glorified frosting. Adding cream cheese or sour cream would have modified the sweetness. However I did like the strong lemon flavor.

Product was not as expected. My father-in-law and I both thought this was going to be a cake. It was more like a lemon mousse pie and not worth the price. My father-in law was very disappointed with the gift I sent him. This was a bad experience.
