Comments about Harry & David Cherry-Oh!® Cherries:

I fell in love with these cherries during my first fruit of the month club. I called immediately to try to order more, but they were already sold out for the year! I will never make that mistake again. The cherries are expensive, but they are worth the money because they are so delicious. My mom initially bickered about the price, but once she tasted the cherries, she understood why they were so expensive! I buy them for myself and give them as gifts. No one that I know has ever been disappointed by these cherries.

My aunt sent me 2 boxes and both boxes had beautiful, big, cherries that were unmarred, but also very sour and not at all sweet. I really very disappointed as was my aunt after spending so much on 4 pounds of cherries.

Comments about Harry & David Cherry-Oh!® Cherries:

Sent this to my cousin for a birthday gift. Much to my embarrassment, the cherries were not plump, juicy, etc as described. My cousin called Harry & David to explain and they sent her Oregold peaches, Three of which had brown spots and the rest were over-ripe. Too bad Harry & David, but you have lost a customer.

            Thank you for your time.

                    A:

Luckylady2, at this time, the cherries we ship could be any one of the following varieties:
Bing: the most prolific cherry in North America. Very large and firm, exceptionally sweet with a deep red coloring.
Brooks: a firm cherry with a sweet taste and a bit of tart bite. Bright shiny red color with a bit of yellow.
Tulare: Very similar to the Bing with a bit of a pink blush.
Chelan: a sweet, deep mahogany red cherry. Resembles Bing with firm, round, heart-shaped fruit of good size.
Sweetheart: a large, bright red, heart-shaped cherry. Mild, sweet flavor and outstanding firmness.
Skeena: a large, very firm and sweet cherry. Dark red to almost black variety with a very dense texture.
Lapin: a deep ruby red colored cherry. Smooth and rounded with a slight heart-shape. Flavor is rich and sweet.
