Again, bought for family. One pear was enough for two people! (However,.. they didn't want to share from what I understand! My daughter and granddaughter LOVE pears,... but this took it to the maximum level of the best treat in the whole world!!!

We received this as a gift and the presentation was beautiful. Unfortunately the first pear we tried was not ripe and very disappointing. The second one was absolutely delicious! (white chocolate with caramel). The remaining two were only so so not up to H&D standards as I remember. Would rate 5 stars if all pears were delicious. Good concept but the chocolate does flake off if no caramel is beneath. The dark chocolate is overwhelming for this fruit. Would like to be able to order a box with only the toppings we like.

The hand-dipped chocolate pears were NOT up to H & D standard. Looked beautiful - packaging exceptional.
Pears hard as rocks - 2 in refrig / 2 on counter to ripen.
Those on counter - chocolate turned soft - pears remained hard. Those in refrig - pears seemed to soften somewhat and when cut chocolate completly flaked off the pear and looked undesireable. Pears were tasteless - not H & D usual quality.

Purchased two - one for self - one as gift. Both were the same and unacceptable. When contacted H & D replaced with another very acceptable item

Will continue to order from H & D - will not order this selection ever again.

Gorgeous pears, not ripe, when sliced brittle topping falls off. Pears should be succulent and topping fairly soft so as to be able to be eaten with pear.Alabama

We received this as a gift.

This gift is a good concept. The package was well designed for shipping and arrived in wonderful shape.

The pears last a long time; however, when cutting or eating the chocolate separated from the pear. Why have them dipped if I am eating the pear and chocolate separately.

Very disappointing.
