Bromeliads have long been valued for their stunning blooms that come in vibrant reds, pinks, purples, oranges and yellows. While tropical plants, bromeliads are highly adaptable and have even been known to grow on powerlines. However, they also make wonderful houseplants and are the perfect gift to grow indoors. Given enough light, humidity and love, these exotic plants will live for a long time. And after they bloom, bromeliads send out new starts, called "pups," that can be repotted to start new plants. They're a gift that keeps on giving. These four potted plants come in a rustic wooden tray.

That's a good question! The dimensions of the wooden box are 7.25 inches long by 7.25 wide by 3.25 high. The plants themselves rise another 4-6 inches above the top of the box.

That's a good question! The plants will stay small and compact. In general, the center plant or parent plant will bloom (3-6 months) then pups or baby plants grow from the base of the parent and take over. Those plants will remain small and can be separated from the parent plant. These varieties will stay about 5-8” round to tall.

what is the care for this plant as I destroyed the instructions before reading!

Thank you for your question! A Bromeliad is of the same family as the pineapple, a dramatic leafy plant, most often with brightly colored flower bracts. They make wonderful houseplants and are very easy to care for. They should be placed where they receive moderate, indirect light and average room temperatures (50-90 degrees F). Allow soil to dry between waterings. Water directly into the plant, allowing water to collect in the cups of the leaves and flowers and run off onto the soil. The water in the leaves and flowers acts as a reservoir for the plant. Mist plant periodically to maintain humidity.
