Our founder, David Holmes, loved the idea of a whole stack of beautiful gift boxes filled with delicious treats and finished with a hand tied bow. That was almost 70 years ago.     This was a tasty tower of treats. My husband & I purchased this for ourselves. The pears were juicy and sweet and perfectly ripe when they arrived. We both enjoyed the popcorn, the cookies, and the baklava. Let me say the baklava was just right, not too sweet and the pastry was crisp and fresh. I enjoyed the mixed nuts while they were not as enjoyable to my husband; and although he liked the raspberry twists I was not a fan. I think this tower has something for everyone and is a great gift for people with different tastes!

    I had this shipped to Florida to my mom for Mother's Day. She said the pears were delicious but all the chocolate items were melted. We both were disappointed. There should be better shipping methods for an item that includes anything with chocolate during the warmer months or to areas with a warmer climate.

        From the ordering to delivery everything went very well. Even when I had to change the delivery last minute I had very good Customer Service! The packaging is beautiful and sturdy so nothing gets damaged in transit. Everything is delicious!

                We received a lovely Thank You card from the recipient of our gift (a colleague). He noted that the tower was "Spectacular!" and that he enjoyed the gourmet pears and "other treasures."

                Having used Harry & David in the past, we were pleased by his response, but certainly not surprised. Thank you, Harry & David, for always delivering quality products--the presentation of which is never a disappointment.

                Service and delivery comments:

                I was very pleased to receive a phone call from customer service, when it was discovered that there would be a slight delay in the delivery (only two days). The representative was both courteous and professional, and we received a credit for the expedited shipping charge we originally selected.
