This is a very tasty, juicy pear. This fruit could have ended the War of the Five Kings. If Renly had offered Stannis one of these delicious Royal Riviera Pears, I'm sure he would have accepted, and they could have joined their forces to take back the Throne. Instead, Renly offered a peach, and it vexed Stannis so.
So buy this box! The best in the realm! Fit for a King!

I was very disappointed in this Merry Mix Up purchase. The pears were very green and not ripe, they were from Chile, and were very hard with no juice and no flavor. I called customer service and was told a replacement would be sent in five days. In the meantime, the first carton ripened enough to eat, they were juicy but were slack in taste. The second order came in five days, were not ripe, brown and very hard and were from New Zealand. They did not look anything like the picture. I'm waiting to see if they will ripen enough to eat and if they are juicy with a good flavor. I have never ordered fruit unseen before and I never will again.

I received this as a birthday gift from my best friend and although it's been awhile since I've received a gift of Harry & David, I was reminded of how much I've enjoyed them in the past and what a treat it is to be a recipient! The pears arrived at the peak of perfection and the sharp white cheddar was a perfect compliment to the pear's juicy sweetness. The bag of mixed nuts were also delicious and I was happy to see there were no peanuts in the mix. All in all I was delighted with this and feel confident that anyone who enjoys pears would be thrilled to receive this.

This product is great because I don't know where else you can purchase pears, especially of such quality. The mix of pears, nuts and cheese is a good combination. Be nice to have crackers with it. I wish I could afford it. I would order more often, probably for everyone I know. My sister and mother were thoroughly pleased. Be nice to have a frequent buyers club, or offer monthly purchase at considerable discount and FREE SHIPPING. LOL! An awards program for referals would be good too. Perhopas one could have choice of cheese and nuts, like "Create Your Own" basket.
