    This Christmas gift arrived in Colorado a few days ahead of schedule and my parents are very excited about the variety of items they received and, in particular, the high quality of the pears. They began by sampling the cookies and truffles and had nothing but good things to report. I am very pleased.

    CHRISTMAS GIFT

    This Holiday Tower was a gift from a stepson to myself and a visiting step-grandson. It was a wonderful gift for the two of us. The pears were the most delectable fruit of any pears or fruit that I have ever had and I've been around for 80 years. There was not any item in the Tower that we didn't enjoy. Being a chocoholic, the chocolate cake was an absolute delight to my choc taste-buds. Overall, it was the best Christmas gift that we received this year.

        I have for several years purchased many tower of treats for friends and family and have always been pleased. This year however, the new way of packaging is terrible, you literally have to tear apart the shipping box to get the set out, at which case rips apart the presentation. I struggled with the 3 sets sent to me directly, I can only imagine the ones sent to the actual recipients what they endured. The pears are amazing but this year they were way too ripe upon arrival, which by the time they were given there was no time left on them. I won't be ordering again for next year, too much $$$ spent for just so so results :(

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
