Tammie, we strongly recommend that you refrigerate the White Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Chocolate Cherries and Signature Chocolate Truffles immediately upon arrrival. The pears will need to be checked upon arrival to see how ripe they are. They ripen quicker in the box at room temperature. They are ripe when the flesh at the base of the stem yields slightly to gentle thumb pressure.
