If you're in need of a new gourmet breakfast, these four kinds of awesome English muffins will do the trick. Wolferman's has been making the best baked breakfast goodies since 1888. They have the biggest and most delicious English muffins around. They're known as Signature English Muffins, and they have a pretty interesting history. When Fred Wolferman was creating the formula for his English muffins in 1910, he used a washed out tuna can to cut the muffin dough. That made his English muffins super big. Almost twice the size of normal English muffins. They don't use the tuna can anymore, but they did keep the Signature size.

    Purchased this for my mom for Mother's Day. Shipping was uber fast - ordered on a Friday and the muffins were to her by the following Wednesday, well in advance for Mother's Day. She loved the treat, something different that she didn't expect!

      these are lovely thick muffins that can be cut in half, toasted, and shared easily. Suggest you toast, add a bit of butter and jam and tea/coffee--can't be beat. My New Zealander friend loved them... and she's selective. Order the 1/2 dozen and parcel out to others--keep well in freezer too.

          Our English Muffins freeze very well, and will last about 4 months in the freezer without loss of flavor or texture. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
