Came home not knowing what to do for dinner. The lobster pot pie was on my doorstep as an early birthday gift for my husband, fully frozen. I turned on the oven, removed the packaging, popped it in, set the timer for 70 minutes. By the time hubby was home, I had microwaved some green beans w almonds and our family dinner was done. Everyone raved about this wonderful pot pie. Everyone felt spoiled to enjoy the decadence of lobster on a weeknight. Wish dinner this delicious and easy would show up on my doorstep EVERYDAY!! :)))

Don't expect a large version of the small Lobster Pot Pies; this is really a potato pie with some lobster meat in it, not spread very evenly, so if you're not careful you can cut a slice for a guest that won't have any lobster in it! But it is tasty, and some of the pieces of lobster are big! A little corn spread throughout, too, so not just potatoes and lobster.

              I ordered this pie for a Thanksgiving extra and it was delicious! Very easy to cook and the pie was extremely moist. Everyone loved it and there were acutal large pieces of lobster throughout the pie. Everyone requested that we have it at Christmas as well.

                          To prepare your Lobster Pot Pie, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Remove pot pie from box and wrapper and place on baking sheet. Brush top and edges lightly with an egg wash or milk. Bake on center oven rack for 60-80 minutes or until golden brown. As oven temperatures vary, you may need to adjust the cooking time for your oven. We advise not to prepare in the pie in a microwave or toaster oven.

                          For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions to ensure that product reaches an internal temperature of 165 F as measured by a food thermometer

                          Both our Quiches and Pot Pies are shipped frozen with ice packs to ensure they arrive cold. Our Quiches are pre-cooked, and can be heated or served cold. The Lobster Pot Pie is not pre-cooked and must be baked in an oven for 60-80 minutes at 375 degrees to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
