The Northwest Cheese Collection features three award winning artisan cheeses—a selection of the very best the West Coast has to offer. The cheese makers at Rogue Creamery are some of the best in the US. Their famous Oregon Blue® cheese has received accolades at cheese competitions all around the globe. It's deliciously smooth with the right balance of sweet and savory. Cave aged and inspired by traditional Italian blues, this gourmet cheese pairs well with pears, prosciutto and red wine. Seattle is home to Beecher's Handmade Cheese, and this gift includes their signature creation. Flagship is a semi-hard cow's milk cheese made with pure, all-natural ingredients and aged for 15 months. Nutty, complex and flavorful, this cheese complements Hefeweizen, India Pale Ale and red wines. It's also a terrific cracker topper. In the 1980s, Laura Chenel helped to bring goat cheese into the eye of the American public. Based in Sonoma County, Laura Chenel's Chevre crafts top quality goat cheeses according to traditional French techniques. This smooth artisanal chevre is light and tangy and pairs well with Sauvignon Blanc.

Q:Hello, I was interested in purchasing this as a gift for christmas, but this would be my first time purchasing a perishable good on the internet. Do these cheeses need to be refrigerated until consumption? And how long will each cheese last? Basically, I don't want to purchase these and then they go bad before I have a chance to gift it :)Asked on 11/14/2013 by adrienne from covina, ca
A:Adrienne -- Yes, the cheeses in this gift will need to be refrigerated upon arrival. You should have a minimum of a month to enjoy them after you recieve the gift. Each cheese will have a Best-if-used-by date on it.Answered on 11/15/2013 by Customer Care from Medford OR
