        I have just received my second asparagus fontina quiche!! This quiche is absolutely wonderful! The flavor, the texture of the peppers and asparagus, the crust! Awesome!!!         We used it for dinner with salad. The asparagus was string and awful. The seasoning and the consistency were lovely. I would buy other quiches if you had them but never the asparagus. This was the second ordered after you nicely sent us a replacement which was wonderful. It is a shame you couldn't duplicate it. I will not buy another one again.

        Disappointing

          Based on Harry & David's usual quality standards and the fact that excellent produce is their specialty, I expected a well-crafted quiche full of delicious asparagus -- but instead, our quiche contained only a few chunks of asparagus cut from thick, tough stalks. They weren't inedible, but they certainly weren't anything special. Moreover, the quiche was very sloppily assembled: crust thicker on one side than the other (looked like the messy effort of a home cook making their first pie crust from scratch), and the pieces of asparagus were all clustered together, so that most slices didn't contain any at all, just the custard base and some tiny pieces of bell pepper. I did really like the fontina flavor, but that wasn't nearly enough to carry the whole dish. Overall, it was about what I'd expect from a TV-dinner quiche out of a grocery store freezer -- definitely not a high-end gourmet product.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
