This is wonderful. It is a generous portion for the price. The salmon is not over smoked but has great texture and flavor. It is great with cream cheese and crackers.

My husband raved about how well the salmon tasted! He ate it in combination with the pears and refused to share. The kids insisted that they get the same salmon for their birthday as well!! I was especially happy because my husband will not eat any seafood unless it's wild. So this purchase was perfect for him. He ate salmon and pears everyday until it was gone. I enjoyed watching him because I have never seen him this happy about food. I will be purchasing again soon because my husband is ready for round two!:-)

My son is in the Army stationed in Hawaii and he loved getting this gift. I have purchased this and the variety pack of salmon and he loves it everytime I send it. This made getting him a gift so much easier and he got a gift he loved.

This was a Fathers Day gift from my sister and her family who knows I Love...Love Salmon...
The packaging was outstanding as the salmon arrived double boxed and in an airtight, vacuum-sealed pouch with no need for refrigeration until opened. The day it delivered the temperature in Arizona was a cool 105 degrees...I opened the salmon in the evening and the first thing I noted was the delicious smoky aroma and that there was some liquid in the pouch...I am used to a drier smoked salmon so this was a first time to taste a more moist smoked salmon...it was salmonlicious...quite simply one of best I have ever tasted because it was moist with a gentle yet striking smoke-salmon flavor.
My girlfriend and I were excited and wanted to try it with different recipes...So far we had it on salad, crackers and toast...check out Emeril Lagasse's Smoked Salmon Tartare on Toast Points on www.foodnetwork.com

the smoked salmon was good, but being raised in AK, the salmon just tasted different then what I remembered as a child..It was more smoky & more dry back then......altho it was good, I had memories of it being better..
