I have ordered the chicken pot pies, sent them as gifts and purchased them at the Harry and David store. This time I was disappointed in the product. Where was the chicken? I had two pies and served them to guests - last time there were raves, this time "no comments." This was embarrassing to say the least. The pies were very sage tasting and again there was no chicken. Prior to this - huge chunks of chicken and mild seasoning. I don't think I'll be purchasing these again.

I sent the Chicken Pot Pie Duo to a couple who were both sick with the flu. Since I live several states away, I wanted to send them some 'comfort food' and this fit the bill perfectly. My friends made the first one the day of arrival and they couldn't stop raving about how great the pot pie was. In fact, they fought for leftovers the next day! Reports were, the filling was very creamy with lots of veggies and chunks of chicken. I wouldn't hestiate sending again to friends or family.

This is a comfort food that my family enjoyed. Two large pot pies were received, one to eat now and one to eat later. My Mother and Brother enjoyed one pot pie for dinner and had leftovers the next day for lunch. I will be sending this gift again.

I sent these pot pies to my son and his family. They all just raved about how delicious this is. I'm happy I chose this.

  Cooking Instructions:
  Do not prepare in microwave or toaster oven.
  Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Remove pot pie from box and wrapper and place on baking sheet. Brush top and edges lightly with an egg wash or milk. Bake on center oven rack for 60-80 minutes or until golden brown.
  As oven temperatures vary, you may need to adjust the cooking time for your oven.
  For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions to ensure that product reaches an internal temperature of 165 F as measured by a food thermometer.
