This is a very tasty, juicy pear. This fruit could have ended the War of the Five Kings. If Renly had offered Stannis one of these delicious Royal Riviera Pears, I'm sure he would have accepted, and they could have joined their forces to take back the Throne. Instead, Renly offered a peach, and it vexed Stannis so.
So buy this box! The best in the realm! Fit for a King!

I was very disappointed in this Merry Mix Up purchase. The pears were very green and not ripe, they were from Chile, and were very hard with no juice and no flavor. I called customer service and was told a replacement would be sent in five days. In the meantime, the first carton ripened enough to eat, they were juicy but were slack in taste. The second order came in five days, were not ripe, brown and very hard and were from New Zealand. They did not look anything like the picture. I'm waiting to see if they will ripen enough to eat and if they are juicy with a good flavor. I have never ordered fruit unseen before and I never will again.

These pears are spectacular!! My dad loves pears...he is a man who has everything already so the pears are a wonderful gift for him. He lives out of state,so the delivery is a great way to send him "presents". I order from Harry and David for my dad all the time!! He looks forward to seeing the boxes on his porch!! Thank you!!

You get juicy pears, crunchy nuts, & smooth cheese. All good items alone or together. Given to Mother-in-Law for Mother's Day. She and my Father-in-Law loved them. Did not know Father-in-Law loves pears. So he's getting some for Father's Day.

I was sent this item by my daughter in Texas for my birthday. She never gave me a "heads up" on the delivery or what it was. I waited 4 days after delivery to open it not knowing that it was food! When I did open it I was sooo surprised and shocked at the quality, and sweetness of the pears from Chile. Nothing like I get in the USA from the supermarket!! They were so good I'm ordering more for myself!!! Thanks Harry&David!! I had a wonderful birthday week!

A wonderful Mother's Day gift when my daughter knows I'm trying to lose weight. The hardest part was keeping my husband limited to half of the pears. He'll need to get his own for Father's Day.
