Fig Pear Toast with Maple Whipped Cream Cheese and Pomegranate

  • 2 slices sturdy white bread (toasted)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ Harry & David Royal Riviera Pear (cored and thinly sliced)
  • 2 figs (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds


  • Arrange the toast on a platter. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese with 1 tablespoon maple syrup and cinnamon using a hand mixer until fluffy.
  • Spread half the cream cheese mixture over one slice of toast.
  • Top with 1/2 the pear, 1 fig and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
  • Repeat with remaining toast.
  • Drizzle with remaining maple syrup and serve immediately
