Poached Pears with Chocolate Truffle SauceOctober 2008
Pare and core pears, leaving stems intact.
Combine water, orange juice and sugar.
Bring to boil and simmer five minutes.
Add pears and poach gently 10 to 15 minutes or until tender.
Cool and top with Chocolate Truffle sauce and freshly chopped nuts to your taste.
