It's a beautiful concoction of mango and strawberry, blended to make a stunning smoothie that is a welcome addition to any Sunday brunch or post-workout meal or a refreshing beverage on a hot afternoon. Even as a sweet dessert. Dare I say, this is a versatile smoothie.

Juicy, sweet Harry & David mangoes are blended with yogurt, fresh ginger, and coconut water to make a tropical combination for the bottom layer. The top strawberry layer is blended with banana, yogurt, ginger, and coconut water. Layered together, they form the perfect combination of flavors that's both kid- and adult-approved. It's a delicious way to enjoy your favorite seasonal fruit, too.

Ingredients
    Mango smoothie layer
  • 2 Harry & David mangoes (diced)
  • 34 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 12 teaspoon fresh ginger (minced)
  • 12 cup coconut water
  • Ice (if desired)
  • Strawberry smoothie layer
  • 112 cups strawberries (chopped)
  • 1 banana
  • 34 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 12 teaspoon fresh ginger (minced)
  • 12 cup coconut water
  • Ice (if desired)

Instructions

  • Place the mango, yogurt, ginger, and coconut water in a blender. Puree the mixture until smooth and thick. To make your smoothie thicker, add ice to the blender. Transfer the mixture to a pitcher and store in the refrigerator while you make the strawberry smoothie.

  • Place the strawberries, banana, yogurt, ginger, and coconut water in the blender. Just like with the mango layer, puree theis mixture until smooth and thick and add ice to make it thicker.

  • To serve, fill a glass halfway with the mango smoothie. Top it with the strawberry smoothie. Serve immediately.
