The best way to celebrate Taco Tuesday is with these Easy Beef Tacos with Salsa Verde. They only take a few minutes to put together, and will have all your guests asking for seconds!

Simple ground beef tacos are a staple for busy weeknights. We love classic toppings like lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese, but sometimes it's nice to mix it up. By simply combining Harry & David Salsa Verde with sour cream, you'll have an easy new sauce that makes your tacos taste completely different! The salsa verde topping also goes great on chicken tacos. Or try mixing up taco night by making a sheet pan of beef nachos with salsa verde instead!

Easy Beef Tacos with Salsa Verde Topping

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 15 minutes


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cup Harry & David Salsa Verde
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 6 tbsp cotija cheese crumbles, divided
  • 6 flour tortillas


  1. Add the ground beef to a medium non-stick skillet preheated to medium-high heat. Break up the beef using a wooden spoon and cook until no longer pink, about five to seven minutes.
  2. Drain and return the beef to the skillet. Add the seasoning mixture and stir to combine. Simmer the meat over medium-low until heated through.
  3. In a small bowl combine Harry & David Salsa Verde with sour cream.
  4. To serve, take a flour tortilla and fill it with some of the taco meat. Top with 1 tbsp cotija cheese and a dollop of the Harry & David Salsa verde sour cream mixture. Repeat process until all tacos have been filled. Enjoy!
