How can I send a wine gift basket?
Sending wine gift baskets or wine deliveries is simple with Harry & David. Choose from a variety of options, including wine-only gifts or gifts paired with gourmet treats like charcuterie, fruits, or chocolates. Some gift baskets come with wine included, while others offer the option to add wine, ensuring there’s a perfect choice for everyone on your list. Please note that all wine purchases and deliveries must comply with state laws and regulations and are available only to recipients aged 21 and over. Deliveries cannot be made to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations, and the recipient's phone number is required for delivery.
Is it safe to ship wine gift baskets?
Each of our wine baskets goes through a rigorous testing process before shipping. Once the gift has been developed, our engineering team prepares the wine gift basket to withstand 3 days on a truck and perform a drop test that mimics what could occur during transportation and storage. Each package is designed with a full consideration of cost, protection, and to minimize the environmental footprint with sustainable packaging. While wine bottles are robust and safe to transport there is additional packaging added around the wine bottles to ensure they arrive perfectly packed alongside the gift.
