Career opportunities at Harry & David include year-round, full-time opportunities in departments such as catalog, retail, and digital marketing, merchandising, procurement, corporate sales, wholesale, creative services, finance, IT, production, manufacturing, agriculture and more. Work at the corporate and career level is generally geared toward future holiday seasons, up to a year in advance for those in product development. With our vertically integrated business, careful orchestration is required of every step, from pruning trees and packing baskets to ensuring that products go live on our website. Each step and every area of responsibility is dependent on the next to meet those deadlines, and fostering an environment of collaboration and support is key to our success.
Career opportunities in our stores range from part-time sales associates to full-time store leaders. The stores team looks for individuals who will uphold our standard of excellence and represent the Harry & David brand as the face of the company for our customers. Those who are outgoing, ambitious, and passionate about customer service will find working in our stores a perfect fit. As well as year-round positions, we have numerous seasonal opportunities to meet increased demand during the holidays.
We offer a variety of career opportunities including fulltime positions in our bakery, candy kitchen, packinghouse, orchards, warehouse, environmental services, and more. Each of these positions plays a vital role in the success of our business.
With two very active contact centers, offering both full-time and seasonal opportunities, we employ up to 100 associates during non-peak seasons and more than 3,000 during our busiest holiday season.
Every year, we hire more than 7,000 seasonal employees across our stores and campuses to support our very busy holiday season. Positions last from 3 weeks to months, starting as early as June and running through the season.
