Ingredients Needed

• 1 package Harry & David® Potato Corn Chowder Soup Mix
• 2 slices bacon, chopped
• ½ medium onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, chopped
• 2 cups water
• 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
• 4 cups half & half

• In a soup kettle or large pot, sauté bacon over medium heat until almost crisp.
• Add onion and garlic, and sauté 1 minute longer.
• Remove yellow seasoning pack and set aside. Add remaining contents of soup mix, water, and chicken broth. Cover and bring to a boil.
• Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• In a small bowl, combine seasoning pack and half-and-half, whisking until blended.
• Stir half-and-half blend into soup, then return soup to a simmer.
• Cook an additional 15 minutes, uncovered, stirring frequently.
