No backyard party, picnic, or holiday is complete without a large serving of baked beans on the table. Beans go with any spread, and when it comes to grilling up burgers or hot dogs, beans are the best sidekick. There are many ways to prep and make baked beans. However, this version of baked beans isn't baked at all. All you have to do is simply add all the ingredients into the crockpot and let them cook!

Harry & David's Bacon Chipotle BBQ Sauce gives the beans a smoky, tangy kick at the end from the chipotle peppers and a delicious flavor. Once you have your ingredients in the slow cooker, simply stir and set on low for four hours. You'll end up with a delectable side dish worthy of your next picnic or backyard party.

Ingredients

  • 3-15oz cans northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 5 slices bacon, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups Harry & David Bacon Chipotle Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In the slow cooker, add all the ingredients.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Set the slow cooker on low for four hours or until the beans have softened.
  4. Once cooked, stir, serve and enjoy!
