This Citrus Habanero Salsa Salad is a refreshing side dish that can go with any meal. Easy to make and requiring only a few ingredients, it's perfect for entertaining or on those nights you don't want to cook!
Add some spicy crunch to your next summer meal! The spice of Harry & David's Habanero Salsa perfectly balances the sweetness of the citrus and acidity of the lime in this salsa salad. And, hey, if you can't handle the heat you can always grab a margarita to wash it down!
This salad takes only a few minutes to make, which means it's the perfect easy side to serve at your next BBQ or on a busy weeknight. Not a fan of cabbage? Try using romaine or your favorite lettuce instead.

Ingredients
- 4 cups shredded napa cabbage, divided
- 1 1/2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 cup red onion thinly sliced, divided
- 2 medium blood oranges, supremed
- 1 large grapefruit, supremed
- 2 medium oranges, supremed
- Harry & David Habanero Salsa, for garnish
- Fresh chopped cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine cabbage with lime juice. Take 1 cup of the cabbage and place it on an individual serving plate.
- Top the cabbage on the plate with 1/4 cup red onion and a mixture of blood orange, orange, and grapefruit segments. The amount of the segments will depend on the size of your citrus. You want roughly three to four segments of each fruit.
- Top the salad with a few dollops of the Harry & David Habanero Salsa. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Repeat process with remaining three plates.
